Spanish A1 B04 Everyday Life and Surroundings

This BSL book brings together around 200 vocabulary items organised into 10 focused lessons, covering a wide range of practical everyday topics. The first lessons introduce colours and shades, from basic hues to descriptive terms like dark, light, and bright. Learners then build vocabulary for places and buildings, including rooms at home, public facilities, and local services. Transport and travel vocabulary covers common vehicles, key infrastructure, and useful movement verbs. Nature and environment words include landscapes, weather, and outdoor settings, while an animal lesson spans pets, farm animals, and wildlife. Two dedicated food and drink lessons cover meals, staple ingredients, beverages, and fruit alongside simple cooking verbs. Further lessons add clothing and accessories, household furniture and everyday objects, and modern technology and media. With around 20 items per lesson, the content is well suited to short, regular BSL learning sessions.
