German Building Industry (A1,A2,B1,B2 )

This book brings together around 200 construction industry vocabulary items across 10 structured lessons, progressing from A1 level through to B2. The first two lessons introduce essential site vocabulary and tools, covering construction equipment, materials, and basic hand tools. A2 lessons move into earthworks and foundation work, with procedural verbs for digging, compacting, and pouring concrete, alongside basic site task instructions. At B1 level, lessons cover shell construction and masonry, measuring and marking techniques, and site safety including protective equipment and hazard reporting. The B2 lessons address waterproofing, drainage, technical finishing work such as floor laying, insulation, and drywall, and close with construction process coordination, including site diaries, defect reporting, and subcontractor management. With around 20 items per lesson, the content is suited to short, focused study at each level.
